Park-inspired flow: Magic Kingdom

Even though we’re still 80 days away from being in the Magic Kingdom, I’m daily inspired by the incredible attention to detail, immersive theming and whimsy I find there.

Since I’ve got to wait, I put together this Magic Kingdom sequence that takes you around the park. Try it out, add your own poses/modifications, and let me know what you think.

Space Mountain:

Start the flow by stretching tall like Space Mountain and leaning side to side.

People Mover:

Get moving with the original People Mover – sun salutations (or whatever warm up sequence makes you feel good.)

Dumbo the Flying Elephant:

Find your balance, and fly high like Dumbo. For an added challenge lower and lift the extended leg.

Mad Tea Party:

It’s not a tea cup ride without a little twisting. Twist to each side and repeat.

It’s a Small World:

Take a seat on It’s a Small World. Alternate hovering your feet for an extra challenge or lift your heels.

Liberty Square:

Salute the U.S. of A. in Liberty Square with Eagle Arms. Bend forward for an extra challenge.

Liberty Tree:

Next, visit Liberty Tree Tavern.

Haunted Mansion:

Haunted Mansion

Then get spooky at the Haunted Mansion under a half moon.

Cowboy Stance:

Cowboy Stance

Make your way to Frontierland, but don’t forget to look like a local.

Shoot the Moon:

Shoot the moon

Show off your marksmanship by shooting the moon. (Alternate sides in this asana.)

Tiny Jafar:

Baby Jafar

Find your flow and make your way to the earth, then rise up like a baby Jafar in cobra form.

Spitting Camel:

Spitting Camel

Avoid the spray by becoming one with the spitting camel.

Jungle Cruise:

Jungle Cruise

Take a ride on the jungle cruise.

Walk the Plank:

Walk the plank

Walk the plank with your favorite pirates.
